Unlimited choices = unlimited confusion!
July 12th, 2009 by Big Button

Using a computer for the first time (or fiftieth time) can be extremely daunting.

The high-tech gadgetry you’re asked to deal with just to contact your family (computers, printers, digital cameras, USB thumb-drives, CDs, DVDs etc etc) are so powerful that they can do just about anything.

The problem with this unlimited power, however, is that it usually comes with unlimited choices. How are you expected to know which button to press, when there are hundreds of buttons in front of you?

Unreasonable! Out of line! Outrageous!

Many seniors (and others too) feel like the lady below when confronted with this endless array of choices.

Move the pointer (usually a small white arrow) over the box below until it becomes a white hand, then move the hand over the play button (right facing triangle) below and click the left button of your mouse (the thing you have been told by someone to hold, that doesn’t squeak and certainly doesn’t respond to cheese, but that you’d certainly love to stick into a mouse trap)…
